Narnia Construction // Branding
Narnia Construction (a Christopher Architecture & Interiors integrated company) is a boutique, high-end, residential & commercial construction company based in Birmingham, AL. In my last semester in undergrad, when I was still doing the internship at CAI in the Spring 2020, Narnia Construction tasked me with rebranding their company. I came up with this concept based off of the irony this company has with The Chronicles of Narnia. In that movie series, one of the biggest symbols is the traditional looking lamp posts that you can find throughout the movies. Using this concept and a brief sketch the president did while talking to me at my desk, I was able to successfully rebrand their company. Along with rebranding, I also created them a website using Squarespace, started their presence on social media, and designed multiple pieces of collateral material.
The helmet above utilizes the branding I created for Narnia Construction company. The branding features an elevated lamp figure, alluding to the Chronicles of Narnia movie series.
The layout above includes multiple orientations of the branding, as well as the official business card design I did for the company, along with the company letterhead and notecard/envelope design. During my time at CAI, I was in charge of the design of all collateral materials across companies, as well as maintaining the ordering, inventory, and distribution of all collateral materials.
This is a signage design that I worked on during my time at CAI. Knowing that my client wanted a simple, yet elevated feel, I knew I should stick with the branding color for the background, allowing the branding to shine for itself.
